Conference venue

San Francisco State University

San Francisco State University will host the 38-th QPRC in 2022 at the Student Annex I (Google Maps). 


The conference will be a hybrid format between in-person and virtual events. 


Code of Conduct

San Francisco State University and the QPRC take a strong stance against harassment and provides a harassment-free environment. This conference is on SFSU property and will adhere to SFSU official policies.

How to get to the conference venue

Public Transit

The easiest and most economical way to purchase tickets is to use the Muni app on your phone: https://www.sfmta.com/getting-around/muni/fares/munimobile. Fare for each ride is $2.50 on the Muni or $5 for a day pass. Note that riders 18 years or younger ride free.

From Omni Hotel

From Montgomery Station, take the M line (Muni, not Bart: once you are underground inside the subway system, there are separate gates for the two kinds of transit) towards Balboa Park via SF State. Get off at the19th St and Holloway Ave stop.

From Courtyard Union Square

You can either walk to the Powell Station or take the iconic Powell St. Cable Car ($8/ride, you can use the Muni phone app to pay: https://www.sfmta.com/getting-around/muni/fares/munimobile)  from the intersection of Post St and Powell St downhill towards Market + Powell.

From Airport

There is no convenient route to get from the SFO airport or hotels near the airport directly to the conference venue. We recommend a taxi / ride sharing service or car rental.

By Car

There will be parking available at the Seven Hills Conference Center for $10/day. You can find a map with available parking below.

Do not park in the mall parking lot across from campus. Your car will get towed.  


Street parking (free)


  • On 19th Street between Buckingham Way and Holloway Avenue, as well as on Lake Merced Blvd or Junipero Serra Blvd.

  • Fees: $6.25 for two hours. $10.00 for the day (Daily permits expire at midnight)  $20.00 for two days .
  • Lot 20: General paid public parking for visitors, guests, and students Hours: 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. L
  • Lot 25: General paid public parking for visitors, guests, and students  Hours: 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., 7 days a week.
